Warts

I have (what I think is) a wart on the side of my finger nail.

It looks like a very small 'cauliflower like' growth on the side of the nail. My Mum, who is a nurse, said it is definitely a wart.

Can I apply verruca cream (intended for feet) and put a plaster over it? Will this work? I've heard wart removal via freezing is very painful and I am an utter wimp.

Thanks x

I used bazuka wart removal. what does it say on the packet.

Ah, you can get stuff specifically for warts? I'll look in to that (and obvs read the packet!)

I thought it was just verruca stuff bazuka did but I know they are very similar to warts!

I feel like an old witch with a wart on my hands!

They do an a'll in one wart and verucca cream. it's not as good as eye of newt and blood of bat though. Grin

I'll get out on my broomstick tonight and find me some newts, toads and bats ;)

Careful.with it. My wart turned white and the skin around it all.soggy then when it did fall off with me picking all the soggy skin off it left a hole which was red raw.

Jesus! That sounds horrendous. I'll be careful not to pick any soggy skin.

Gross.

Thank you xxx
