Regaining movement after fracture

I broke my elbow a decade a go and never got the full range of movement back (can't straighten or completely bend my arm). Has anyone managed to regain movement in a joint after years? Or is there no hope?

No advice sorry - I did the same in 1999 and I can't completely straighten or bend either. The not straightening thing is common I think - but the not bending is more unusual. In my case there's a bone fragment that seems to be causing the problem and they've gone back in to try and hoik it out but it's too near important stuff so they left it. I'm afraid to say that, after ten years plus, I fear we're stuck. Sad

Oh dear! I was afraid you might say that. My arm still has some flexibility in it. For example, if I carry a heavy bag it straightens out a little bit (and really hurts!) which gives me a bit of hope.
