So ive had what i thought was siatica for months been to drs twice, had xray results today.
I have wear and tear in my pelvis but classed as not worrying. My spine however has come back saying i have missing space. Ive been reffered to orthapedics. But what does this mean im not 40 yet and i have a toddler im terrified this is going to get worst or something more serious is going on.
Anyone had anything similar

I was hoping someone else would jump in but at least this keeps it at the top for you. I Googled it and the only references were for narrowing of the "space" ... having spaces seems to be normal. I know nothing - just looked out of interest. Hopefully some smart person will appear! Try not to panic (easier said than done I know)

Thank you. But they seem to be refering to where the disc should be, rather then it looking normal.

Surely it would be bone on bone then - sounds painful? I'm sure I saw some new technique where they could insert something to replace the disc. Good luck
