Possible broken bone after fall?

I did something stupid a week ago - tripped over something on the pavement because I wasn't looking where I was going. Fell down heavily on my right hand and left knee. My palm was split open, and that's almost healed. Hand swollen and a big bruise from my knuckles down to below the wrist bone, and that's almost gone. I could wiggle all my fingers but couldn't write well or drive because I couldn't grip, but the grip is coming back. But now my wrist is very sore, and it's also sore around my elbow and shoulder, although these didn't hit the ground.

My question is, does this sound normal? I won't get a doctor's appointment for ages so it would be an A&E job - horrors.

Do you have a walk in centre anywhere near you?

I break something every time I fall over. I don't bother with the GP, but we have a WIC that has Xray facilities 9 - 5, but I am in London.

Otherwise it would have to be A&E. They will triage you and you might be hanging around for a while. But fractures do need to be treated properly.

No, there's one in the nearest city but not sure if it has an x-ray. It would be a major jaunt. I'm self-employed and have work to finish so it's not something I want to do. I'm hoping someone will say it's just after-effects of the bruising!

You need to get it checked it could very well be broken

Ligament injuries can be far worse than broken bones. And tendon injuries can hurt like buggery. tbh, it could be all sorts of things. Soreness that spreads up the arm sounds like tendons or ligaments to me.
