DDs skin...

Hi all

DD is 16 and grown out of what was moderate eczema when she was younger. Now she only gets it the odd time on the inside of her elbows if she gets really hot, and around her mouth.

She's used Calmex lip salve, hydrocortisone cream, Boots Traditional Skin Care Skin Cream - none are working.

She used to be given eczema moisturising bath wash and stuff (Oilatum) and one other cream which for the life of me I can't remember the name of - the second she used to put it on her skin it would look like someone had poured boiling water on her.

It's looking like a 'breakout' around her mouth and she's dead self conscious about it. Sadly there are bugger all GP appointments available so that's a right nightmare and I want to get something for her skin that will soothe it and get rid of this red nastiness around her mouth.

Any suggestions??

My dd has eczema and she suffers from sore skin around her mouth.
I recently bought her a Bioderma abcderm Peri Oral cream. It's designed for babies who are sore around the mouth from dribbling/teething but I think it sounds like it might work for dd.

Worth speaking to a pharmacist?

Both good ideas, thank you. I've got a Boots near me so I'll see if they've got the Bioderma (definitely worth a try) and ask the pharmacist for some other recommendations.
