Care Chair - Where to advertise

I'm not sure that I'm posting on the right thread here...

My great uncle sadly passed away in July. My grandma was his next of kin and he had been in care since he was in his 50's. He had recently moved to a new home as the one he had been for over 15 years could no longer accommodate his needs. Prior to him leaving someone came to access him from the PCT. They recommended a care chair for him which cost over £2000. He sat in the chair twice and never once he moved to the new home.

My grandma now has this chair in her front room and is at a loss at what to do with it.

Where would be the best place to advertise such a chair for sale? It seems to be quite a niche product (www.yorkshirecareequipment.com/p/seating/lento-care-chair/) and I'm finding it hard to find like for like on places like eBay, Shpock Gumtree etc.

TIA

Sorry to hear about your uncle. My suggestion would be to contact other care homes who may have residents in need of a chair like that, or local charities who work with people with similar medical conditions.

Check it doesn’t belong to the Oct if it was purchased by then using chic money. There’s usually an integrated store it would go back to and be reissued to another person. Often specialist chairs can be remodelled. Sorry for your loss op

Thanks

No it definitely belongs to us. It was paid for from my uncle's pension money. My grandma was in control of his money and the care home said he required the chair but they they did not provide them
