I had a minor operation on Wednesday on my bladder and have had to have a temporary 5 day cathetar fitted.

I am feeling uncomfortable with the cathetar, and Im worried its going to fall out.

Is it normal to feel that I need to go to the loo when I sit down on a chair, or when I stand it feels as though the cathetar will come out. The only position comfortable is when I lie down!

Im also worried about going to the loo to do the other thing(sorry if too much info) but can that force it out?

Anyone out there no anything, Ive got this thing til Tuesday

Oh bless you!!
I work in care so have come across these a lot.from what I gather you can 'feel' them IYKWIM and they aren't very comfortable.
I think it would take one hell of a shit to push one out though

You won't push it out!

It just feels like you have to go all the time, though.

Ickle!
