Skin cancer or rash

This appeared on husbands leg Saturday, he swears it wasn't there Friday. Bit itchy and hurts like a spot would. Picture a bit pants. Goto see GP or dermatologolist? Am I overreacting.

Looks like it could be an insect bite. I’d see if it goes down over the next few days. If not pop in and see a pharmacist for advice.

Its an insect bite - take some anti histamine and put some bite cream on it

I posted a very similar pic recently OP. Mine is on my wrist and more defined around the edges. Have it one month now so off to see my doctor this week. No idea what it might be. Goes up and down in terms of redness. Strange.
