bad reation

hey all im hoping to find some closure on this i have searched hi and low for many hours and have found nothing so wanted real parents experiences with the 8 week jabs
we took our daugter for her 8 week jabs on thursday morning she seemed fine all day just sleepy took her up for her feed at about 8-9 my partner fed her within 20 mins of feeding shouts down for me to grab the phone in a very worrying voice when i got upstairs i was absolutley horrified her left eye was central but her right was to the side her breathing was very delayed and she was not responding to anything at all also making weird noises and a cry that i have never heard her do before not high pitched but like she couldent cry normally shes very vocal she was also hot and had a temp of 38.4C called 111 and they sent an ambulance out she remained that way within an hour of being in hospital she started to go back to normal had a feed and was alert and cooing at the doctor came home that night and slept through the night she seems normal now just very irattable and being sick alot im so paranoid checking her every other minuite i never ever want to see that again its made me feel ill

How is your baby now?
Most MNers seem heavily pro-vax no matter what the "side effects" of the vaccines, but honestly, if a child is reacting like that to a vaccine then I wouldn't be in a hurry to give them any more. Did the hospital claim it was coincidental and unrelated to the vaccine, by any chance?

BrazenFoxed Common side effects of not vaccinating are disability and death.
Hospitals aren't in denial about reactions from vaccinations, don't try to frame it like that. I got my flu jab yesterday and the info we had to sign that we'd read talked about adverse reactions and 'do not take this vaccination if you are allergic to chicken or egg', everything right up front.
OP, work with your GP/postnatal care on this one. Don't be put off vaccinations, they're life-saving not just for your child but others too.
