IBS - VERY gassy! Please help

I have IBS and was wondering if any of you know the best things to take for gas.
I’ve had all the checks done at the hospital for anything more sinister, and I try and stick to a mainly low fodmap diet but I do sometimes stray from this as it can be difficult to stick to 100% all the time.
I’m lactose intolerant so do try and avoid that 99% of the time though. I don’t eat much processed food and I avoid things like fizzy drinks, alcohol and caffeine.
I am always SO gassy. My stomach bloats each evening to the point I look heavily pregnant. I’ll then wake up in the morning with a flat stomach again. When I pass gas it’s always really loud (although rarely smells). Is there anything I can take for this as it’s getting embarrassing how often I need to let rip. If I hold it in I feel unwell and get bad stomach pains.
I already take a probiotic and turmeric every day. And I also take buscopan if I’m feeling unwell and I drink peppermint tea. I’ve heard good things about activated charcoal, peppermint oil capsules and windeze tablets. Does anyone have any experience with these?
Thanks for your help

I’ve just started taking peppermint oil capsules (cheap from amazon), very early days but I’ve heard peppermint oil can calm intestinal spasms
Will update you if it works!

Also, I’ve heard spacing time between meals has helped for some (no grazing)
Personally, I have to avoid seeds, or nuts when my ibs is bad (and other insoluble fibre) really worsens bloating and gas

I'm really struggling at the moment with IBS symptoms of cramps, hideous bloating and wind. Just read about digestive enzymes and ordered some online. The reviews suggest many IBS sufferers find great relief from their symptoms when taking them with meals. I'll update you when I start taking them. Utterly miserable with it at present, I do sympathise.

Daily peppermint oil generally helps keep my tummy/digestion calmer. Easy to pick up a box in Boots.

Have you ever tried senna tea? Someone on here recommended it once under the nickname "shitter tea" Grin

I take it when I'm having a bad day and it cleans me out the next morning. However, I have D-IBS not C-IBS so I don't know how it works for everyone.

Otherwise, it's definitely prevention rather than cure, or suffer the consequences. Bread, fizzy drinks and a few specific ingredients for me are my nemesis. FODMAP is dull though, I do get it.

Maybe take the Buscopan earlier in the day?

I use colpermin which is great at sorting pain and bloating out
