I've tried everything else we have in the house to try and make the pain in my neck/shoulder ease and nothing has worked......we have some deep heat in the house but it says to consult your doctor if you are (amongst other things) breastfeeding..........

don't have a wheat pack or heat compress plaster in the house unfortunately. It's on the back of my shoulder (as opposed to the front..if that makes any difference??).

Fannyannie - have seen your other thread. It really seems like you shouldn't wait until Monday to see your doc. Are there any osteopaths near you who work on a Sat?

well it's still playing me up - but not quite so bad - although the muscles I use when swallowing seem to be 'attached' to the muscles at the back of my neck and as a result hurts when I'm eating......but I called the Dr.s and it wasn't considered 'urgent' enough for an appointment today - and the earliest tehy could give me was next Thursday !
