Could this be appendix?

Yesterday at 6pm I got an awful tummy ache. I went extremely cold and felt really sick. I went to bed and woke up at 2am for a few hours with really bad pain on the right hand side. Took paracetamol, tossed and turned, fell back to sleep.
This morning I've woken up and the pain is still there but not as bad. Hurts more if I move but definitely manageable. My partner has left for work but promised to come back in a few hours. I've got a 1 year old. I am thinking about making a doctors appointment when they open but I honestly don't think I can push the pushchair up there.
What is this crazy pain in my side?!

How high is the pain? Is it right hand side? Just under ribs? If so could be gallbladder. Though of course if appendix the pain is much lower down.

It's right hand side, couple inches in from the pointy bit of pelvis. The pain has definitely eased up and is now more a dull ache than a stabby pain. So seems to be getting better.
