Vulvitis?

was diagnosed with vulvitis several years ago and given steroid cream. Always worse/flares up after a period.hI am 47 and have had 4 periods in the last 6 weeks. By its are driving menuts. Steroid cream not helping the God awful itch.

Have you tried vagisil for the itch? I assume you have tried most things if you've had it for years but just thought I'd throw it out there.

Dermol cream to wash and epaderm to soothe has helped me
Also a moon cup instead of tampons/pads and avoid anything scented!

I stopped using soap and this helped. Use E45 cream cleanser (or own brand versions) instead. Sometimes just water.

Try using diprobase as a cleanser in the shower and as a moisturiser. I had a similar problem and my specialist said overuse of steroid cream can make the discomfort worse.
If the discomfort is internal as well, Sylk is very good. Sold as a lubricant / moisturiser
