Headache for a week?

I've had a headache almost consistently for a week now and it's doing my head in (pun intended!)

I had a pretty bad cold last week so thought it was related to being all stuffy but cold has since long gone and headache is here to stay. It's right on my eyebrow above my right eye and apart from a few hours here and there (and whilst sleeping) it's been pretty much constant since last Wednesday.

I also started my period last week after 3 months of continuous pill packets, so I guess there's a chance it could be hormonal?

Painkillers won't shift it, drinking more water doesn't seem to have any effect either. It just feels like a weight on my eye and has started to spread to my ear as well.

It's driving me crazy! Does anyone have any miracle headache cures? Or is it time to try get a doctors appointment? I have no idea how long to leave a headache before seeking help.

Could be blocked sinuses. Could be a visit to the opticians ?

Opticians will probably be quicker actually. It has been a few years since my last eye test but have always had perfect eyesight so let it slide. Will phone for an appointment tomorrow!

Sounds like a possible sinus infection to me.

Sounds like blocked sinuses, I get this regularly. Try sinutab OR sudafed mucus relief. Steam will help too.

Sinus issues definitely from the cold. Sterimar nasal spray (and the doctors might get you a steroid spray) vicks rub for chest and steaming out all help
