Whole family been laid low with a bug. DD is ok in self, but has had some strange nappies and is really off her food (except porridge) which is very unusual. She is having water and bm, but just wondering which foods would be good to try her with when she has an upset stomach.

Nothing - until she's feeling better. Keep on with the fluids and once she's started asking for food, reintroduce slowly but avoid dairy (you can have a temp lactose intolerance after a tummy upset). Your BM will be doing her the world of good and she'll be back on track within a few days.

My DD constantly has strange nappies, but she's obsessed with blueberries and asparagus at the minute (her poos are PURPLE!!!!)

thanks-she is very into her bm again. Is really liking the porridge, but perhaps should avoid because of dairy?

tbh, if she is eating the porridge happily and having bm, i'd just keep going as you are. A baby who's not well won't eat what they don't want or need. Very sensible!

If you're worried about dehydration, a little boiled water in a cup (although you're probably not, and bm will be much better in any event!).

You can make it just with water. Stewed able is good for 'binding' ie making poo firm again. If you can add some to her porridge so much the better.

DD goes crazy for BM whenever she is sick, I end up with enormous boobs for a week though

Glad you are all feeling a bit better.
