I had a bad UTI just before the holidays delayed getting antibiotics due to working. The doc took a sample and prescribe antibiotics about a week I started having a watering discharge and internal and external itching. I brought some canestan and treated it and it did ease but then started getting sore around the perinium and between bum cheeks. I've out in weight lately although only a size 14 so not sure if I'm chafing or sweating down which hasn't helped. I've applied sudocrem and seemed ok then had sex and my uretha was hurting and felt like I had spasm ps internally wanting yo wee but not able to. I drank loads of water and it seemed OK but then the itching starts again sometimes my vagina sometimes between my bottom. I don't know what the hell to do. I have the coil and I feel this pinching stinging inside me and pressure to wee but not weeping. Although when I do wee it doesn't sting. Help!!

It sounds like you still have a UTI and thrush because of the infection.

Have you finished the antibiotics? Did your Gp send a wee sample to be tested in the lab? May be that you need a different antibiotic so go back to see Dr.

Also avoid soap and bath stuff or any tight undies, wear only loose cotton pants, wash with water only down there and dry or wipe gently. Avoid sex until you are sorted as thrush can be passed back and forth between you.

And for everyone, ever, always have a wee post sex. Clears out bacteria and reduces risk of UTI.

Thank you yeah they sent a sample to lab but I didn’t hear anything back. Wondering if I was meant to ring them 🤔. For some reason I struggle to wee after sex. I finished antibiotics 4 weeks ago and initially felt ok once finished until the itching started, which moved from internally to externally. I just feel like down there is irritated internally and my urethra just have this stinging pressure feeling.
