On holiday and feeling rough

Really fed up now. I’m on week two of my holiday and it’s about 40 degrees. I wasn’t spending too long in the sun and keeping hydrated. But since I got my period two days ago I’ve been off my food a bit, slightly upset stomach, headachey and exhausted. I slept most of yesterday. No temperature though which is something I guess. I waited until 6 today to go out so it wouldn’t be so hot. Went to a restaurant and had to really force myself to eat and straight after I felt so sick and had to dash back to hotel for the loo Blush
It comes in waves but the tiredness is lingering.
What is this?
I can’t help but think it’s related to the mosquito bites I got theee days ago but they don’t look too bad and aren’t itching now.
I do have anxiety which is worst around times of the month. Could it be that?

Stupid question but do you normally drink tea and coffee and have cut Down on your holiday? I felt dreadful some years ago similarly to how you described and that was because I only had one cup of tea morning rather than my regular 5 or 6 cuppers. Caffeine withdrawal is a shock to the system. Otherwise it could be dehydration. We often think we drink enough when we're not.

Dh said dehydration too. I don’t drink anything with caffeine in it. Maybe I just don’t do too well in the sun. I’ll buy a big bottle of water and take it with me everywhere I go.
I am missing my normal healthy eating routine. At home I have bio yoghurt and oats and fruit every morning and here I’m just living on naughty food!
