it's usually 12 midnight but you are allowed to drink water so that you don't get dehydrated.

MrsWho · 04/06/2007 22:03

Are you pg? Is it gestational diabetes?

MrsWho · 04/06/2007 22:20

No, have high BP and they can't see any obvious reasons why.

I think fasting tests are normally glucose related.

or cholesterol.

Mercy · 04/06/2007 22:23

Your blood will be tested for cholesterol levels as well as various other things - liver and kidney function, thyroid, blood sugar level etc

Good luck - it only takes a couple of mins! But do take a sugary snack or drink with you before you drive.

noddyholder · 04/06/2007 22:28

Me too was told nothing but water after 10pm and my test is at 10am so must be 12 hrs.

MrsWho · 04/06/2007 22:42
