Hair loss (women)

Around about the end of 2015 I noticed some bald patches on my legs. I don't wax or shave regularly so I noticed the patches. I also noticed a bald patch on my pubic hair.

I was taking a course of medicine earlier that year and one of the side effects was hair loss. I was also got through some stress. I put it all down to that.

Around about 7 or 8 months later in the summer of 2016, the hair never returned so I went to the doctor. Blood was taken and tests were done. I forget what was tested. Thyroid was tested and a few more bits. Tests came back all clear. It did show I needed iron though.

Well into 2018 now and the bald patches still remain. Thankfully I haven't noticed bald patches on my scalp. However, my hair is thinning. I used to have thick hair. Every time I come/brush/wash my hair so much hair comes out. The bathroom sink is usually covered in hair. That never happened to me before. Usually whatever hair falling out would be contained in the comb. I haven't noticed any bald patches on my scalp, thankfully but I'm worried now all the same.

Had this happened to anyone else before?

Thanks
