hi, I have had the worst head ache of my life for the past 3 days, i cannot sleep and have to keep my head still or it hurts too much, i have a cold compress on. My temp is 38.3 so not too bad and i am obviously managing to type this so not dying but i have now got some small red spots on my stomach, ive tried the glass test but cant relly tell if they go or not.
should i ring doc or wait till morning?

I imagine you have an out of hours service, in which case there'll be someone on a switchboard. So phone them, you won't be waking anyone.

Could be they say see the doc in the morning, could be they send someone over. In any case it's just a phone call, so you might as well. May be worth it.

Good plan - but in my experience the local out of hours service is much, much quicker to call back.

Hope you can get something done.

Pixiepie · 04/06/2007 01:55

You could try and phone nhs direct. They will advise you what to do.

I would take yourself straight to an emergency room if you have a rash to go with the headache.

SofiaAmes · 04/06/2007 01:58

I wouldn't trust anything nhs direct told me to do.

How are you now? Hope it wasn't as scary as it sounded.
