Horsefly bite

I was bitten on the back of my leg last Monday I immediately felt unwell and in 48 hours the bite had turned into a raging infection.

I had antibiotics for 7 days and I finished them last night. I have woken up today with another small bite (from the same night but not infected) swollen and the horsefly bite a red ring again. I am terrified is this histamine or infection again

Red ring would make me think an infection. Go see your GP (or walk in if no same day app). You may just need a second course of antibiotics to fully rid of the infection.
