I first noticed this a fwe weeks ago when she came up the stairs and I was in my bedroom, every step I heard her knees click. I have observed her since and most times if she kneels down, stands up, goes up the stairs her knees click.

Has anyone ever noticed it happening to their DC, do I need to worry or is it just a phase she is going through?

She does 3 different types of dance a week, but nothing really strenuious!

Not sure if that is what she has got as she doesn't mention pain! (And she's the kind of child who would)

My DD has always been like this, she clicks ALL the time and it sometimes really makes me feel yeuk. She is just 12yrs and I took her to the GP a couple of years ago, he was totally unconcerned as there is no pain involved. Think he mentioned someting about extra fluid around joints? Great nickname by the way

I have had clicky knee joints for a long as I can remember. Am now 36 and still clicking, but don't have any problems like pain. Hope this helps.

I have clicky knee joints too, although I don't click when going up or down stairs, only when bending down to squat. I'm 39 now, and have no problems with pain either.

It's embarrassing though, they click really loudly .
