Painful joints in cold weather - what could this be ?

I keep getting really painful joints in cold weather, or if I have been cold (eg when I got sunburnt and sat in a cold bath for 40 minutes )

Its primarily, knees, ankles/feet, wrists and elbows. The pain is worse the morning after, and its extremly painful . Painful as a dislocation, (done that more than a few times ) paracetomol doesn't touch it.

Googling tells me its arthritis, but wonder if anyone here has other suggestions !! Have an appointment at the GPs tommorow but would like to know all the possibilities before I get there !

TIA xx

I have the same problem, doctor told me it is ruematoid arthritis. My knee is bad most of the time, but in really cold weather, my shoulder and wrist is really bad too. You could try Selenium ACE tablets, but tbh, there's not much you can do about it. I use a heat bag, ibruprofen tablets and gel as necessary.
