Burning pain in left breast

Good afternoon everyone,

Hoping to get a little perspective on this because I'm sending myself barmy worrying about it.

My left breast is so painful, it's tender as if bruised and also have a burning sensation that's been waking me up at night.

12 days ago I banged the side of that breast quite badly in a swimming pool, I was swept along by a strong wave and collided with the metal steps. I did develop a small bruise which didn't really reflect how hard I banged it to be honest!

But I'm thinking this burning pain can't be connected almost 2 weeks later can it? Breast is also slightly enlarged and a bit swollen. There's no external redness or lumps that I can feel but the burning and soreness is really awful.

I'm convincing myself it's ibc or something equally horrendous. Looking for some advice, opinion or a handhold until I can get to docs tomorrow. I think even after that I'll have a long wait for scans etc if needed.
So scared. Feeling very vulnerable at the moment

Thank you for reading xxx

Have you taken any inflammatory drugs? I would try those for tonight and see if it makes any difference. It sounds like the pain may have been caused by the knock to your breasts.

Hope the drugs help

Thanks for replying!

Yeah I tool some ibuprofen for a couple of days but didn't really alleviate much tbh.
It's the burning sensation that's worrying me most. Horrible not knowing isn't it? x
