For me, anything from a couple of days to a fortnight 😕

It varies from person to person and on how many times you’ve had it. My doctor prescribed tablets but I kept throwing up and it took several days to even get out of bed. I was told by someone that I could/should have been given an injection which would have worked quickly as obviously tablets/throwing up a hopeless situation. It took several weeks to get my balance back completely. Luckily I’ve only had it once, I think an ear infection mayhave caused it. I’m hoping that I never have another attack, it really scared me, I thought it was something worse, like a brain tumour or mad cow disease. Hope you get the right treatment and feel better (less dizzy) soon. It’s a horrible feeling. 💐

Fortunately I've only had it once, many years ago. It only lasted a couple of days for me. The room was literally swirling around every time I lifted my head off the pillow.
