Dunno if it’s the weather but it seems like someone in my family is constantly sick at the moment.

My brother had his gallbladder out for multiple bouts of acute pancreatitis. Then my son got norovirus which spread to me, my other son, my husband and my mum. Then my son got hand foot and mouth which I think me and the baby also had but only in the form of mouth ulcers for a few days rather than the full blown thing (guessing I had it before and baby still had my antibodies). Then my dad came back from working in Egypt with a tummy bug. After he recovered from that for a few days he was admitted to hospital with appendicitis (and forgot to bring his phone so we freaked out at the lack of contact and thought he was dead - he kept waiting to be released to a ward before asking to make a call but instead he was in a&e alllll day). Now this morning I wake up with a painful swollen gland on the right side of my neck.

It’s been relentless!!!

Maybe the heatwave wrecked our immune systems.
