Driving me mad!!

its across the top of my nose between my eyes, and the bottom of my forehead and above both eyebrows. Also the sides of my face next to my eyebrows.

Went out last night and wore makeup for the first time in ages but only had a tiny bit of foundation mixed with my normal moisturiser. and ive used this foundation loads of time before.

its been itchy all day but there is no rash its just red from itching.

Ive been putting fucidin cream on all day and sudocream too

any advice what to do or what it can be?

Are you over tired ??

When I get really tired my T zone gets really itchy.

BettySpaghetti · 02/06/2007 19:41

Do you have a fringe? If so could it be from a hair product? Its just it sounds like the area that a fringe would be covering/touching

juicychops · 02/06/2007 19:45

nope not got a fringe, and not particularly tired/lacking sleep.

its the same kind of itch as a heat rash but i dont think it is that as ive had it from when i woke this morning to now constantly and nothing is calming it down

Could it be an allergy to something? Have no idea what though as i haven't used anything different

cant even tell if the top of my nose between my eyes is swollen as i cant remember what its supposed to be like!

Is your skin red/flushed as well?

juicychops · 02/06/2007 20:09

my cheeks are naturally red anyway, but im no more redder than i normally am

Only asked cos I recently got told I had rosacea - and that started with an itchy face in the places you describe.
Not rash, more like bumps.
Most people who get it have naturally red/easily flushed complexions.
Not saying it's what you have - but if it hasn't got better by Monday, maybe worth seeing GP and finding out?

juicychops · 02/06/2007 20:23

porpoise cant see any bumps of any kind yet, but it is concerning enough to want to go docs. so yeah, if its still there by monday i think i will go

What is the treatment for rosacea?

It could be hayfever? I get an itchy face when I am getting hayfever, but I also get an itchy neck/inside ears feeling if you know what I mean?!

Apparently the pollen count is high this year as well..

juicychops · 02/06/2007 20:57

could be. Although i have never suffered with hayfeaver before

how's your face this morning, juicychops?

juicychops · 04/06/2007 16:20

ho sorry i didn't get back to this thread. Ive also posted on the allergy thread too as it was a reaction to anti biotics i was taking.

rash has mostly gone but still on my neck. Itching is still there too but not as bad. Been taking piriton

Glad to hear it's getting better!
(And glad my premonitions of rosacea were unfounded - spotty faces are not cool!)
