Breast reduction regret?

Just that. It’s a big undertaking. Hear many accounts where women say ‘best thing’. Is it really?

Oh I'd like to know this too. Just booked an appointment with a consultant.

Had mine done 14 years ago, not one moment of regret since.

Had mine done 11 years ago. Never regretted it and I had complications.

I was a 32GG and had permanent backache. I got fat necrosis on one side after surgery and the scars are not small but I was never going to be a model anyway!

Would have it done again tomorrow despite everything. Feel free to ask any questions you like.

Absolutely no regrets here and it’s been almost 20 years. It did affect my ability to breastfeed although I was able to mix feed and I did make more milk with each subsequent child. But it was totally worth it. I was 18 and nobody ever looked at my face. The first thing most people (who didn’t know) said to me afterward was asking if I had lost weight.

8 years here and no regrets - slightly wonky scar on one side, but that’s insignificant beside the benefits

Thank you! So my bf-ing days are over so my main concern is telling work that I need the time off. Any tips?

I've got appt with consultant in a month. I'm a 32HH and whilst I don't have back ache, I do get achy if you know what I mean? I'm fed up of clothes never fitting and people (typically men) staring. And this hot weather has NOT helped!!

I had read somewhere that the NHS aren't offering this surgery any longer...and I can't find the requirements from my Trust anywhere... so I'm assuming I'd have to go private. Am I wrong?

When my bra fits perfectly I have no problem but most of the time I can’t get then to fit and they drive me nuts. I can’t reconcile myself to surgery because it’s impossible to sustain a bra fitting. I know people who are just as big, 34k, and have no problem.

It's up there with kids being born as a great thing in my life.
