Can someone help interpret these results?

19.6.18

TSH 7.32
T4 12.5
T3 3.4

30.7.18

TSH 2.81
T4 15.4
T3 3.8

I’m currently on 75mcg of Levo a day. Should I be pushing for a higher dose? I’ve been TTC for over two years so I’m trying to get myself in order.

In a word, yes. The object of taking Levo is to get FT4 to the top of the range, which should put FT3 mid-range or higher. Looks like you've got a bit further to go.

WerewolvesNotSwearwolves · 06/08/2018 21:39

That’s what I thought. Thanks NaToth.

The ranges vary between labs. Can you post the ranges? Otherwise we can only guess. But it does look like you have room for improvement still.

These are the ranges.

Thanks, you still have further to go as suspected but not much. I believe they recommend upping your dose in increases of 25mcg each review!

I think NICE guidelines for TTC are tSH of under 2. Defininately get an increase and usually once pregnant, another dose increase is needed.

I spoke to the doctor last night and she has suggested alternating 75 and 100 mcg daily, and another test in 6 weeks. Fingers crossed! Thanks everyone.
