Flu/cold virus

Has anyone else bit hit by the above recently?
I'm in Bristol and people are falling like flies with it and with nasty chesty coughs.
I was just wondering if it's a regional thing.

My son has had this and I've woke up with a cold this morning however I'm in Yorkshire. 6 month pregnant to make matters worse so not much I can take for it Envy

Ds 10 has a cold for about a week and four days or chesty cough. I had one day sneezing and one day sore tonsils. Then nothing. We’re in the south east.
