PCOS and hairy face

First of al apologies if this isn’t the right place to post this, I can’t seem to think/find a relevant forum. I have PCOS, my main obvious symptom is the hairy face, it’s starting to really get me down. It’s very light blonde hair but I have a hairy face and it’s obvious. I pluck the odd dark hairs on my chin but what can I do to reduce the lighter hair? I’m terrified to wax or use any sort of hair removal cream as I’m worried it’ll come back darker. 😩 any advice please

There's a thing called micro plaining (I think) it's where they shave your whole face, apparently the hair doesn't grow back thicker and it helps with spots and dry skin as it's kind of exfoliating too!

A family member has similar issues and was able to get laser hair removal. Speak to your gp

Laser hair removal doesn’t work on blonde hairs. You will need to have electrolysis instead if you want it removed. Alternatively a contraceptive pill such as Yasmin or Eloine or a medication called spironolactone reduces hirsutism and other PCOS symptoms.
