Would you do anything about this mole (with pic)

I have a lot of moles all over my body. Some are raised and some are smooth and they vary in size & colour.

This one is on the side of my hip (bum area) and so I cannot see it usually so don't know if it's changed at all in colour or size but it has been very itchy the last few weeks. I thought it was a mosquito bite to start with as I had a few when we went on holiday but asked DH to have a look and he said it's a mole.

Getting an appointment at our Doctors is a complete nightmare so wouldn't want to waste time if it's nothing.

Anyone experience anything like this before and have some knowledge?

To be honest I would go and get it checked. I have quite a few also and went to get mine checked. Mine were all fine. My doctor said it's always worth getting them checked out.
My mum on the other had one of hers checked and they told her it was safer to get it removed as it had changed slightly to a more strange shape and bumpy almost.
There's no harm in getting it checked out x

Yes I would get that checked.
I think I read that Boots has a mole checking service.
Or, could you email that picture to your GP?

I've always been lead to believe that moles with hair growing out of them generally aren't cancerous... that being said as you have lots over your body it wouldn't hurt to have them checked out to put your mind at rest.

Oh that's good to know about the hairs- a lot of my raised ones are hairy and they're the ones I worry about most.

I think I will get them checked- just as there is a few I can't see and I have a lot of them. Boots sounds like a great idea- I'll have a look at if they do it in my local store.

My gp also told me about the hair thing. Can’t hurt to get it checked out though.
