Ant poison (powder) worry

This is gonna sound really paranoid (I do have anxiety) but I just wanted peoples opinions, this is my first time posting on something like this but I'm 39 weeks pregnant and sat up worrying so figured why not.

I live on a high street and my neighbour (2 doors down) has sprinkled LOADS of ant powder round the outside of her house and front door, it's on a public walkway that lots of dogs and kids run down anyway which I thought was inconsiderate but does anyone know if she's actually aloud to do that? Surely it poses a health risk to the public? I saw her sprinkling it the other day but I don't actually know what brand it was or how dangerous it is...

I'm only posting this because of my anxiety... I'm terrified to walk past that house and I'm worrying that this ant powder has been walked around the pavement and I'm going to walk it into the house... does anyone know how dangerous it is?

Like I said this post is probably just me being paranoid.

Thanks

It's a poison. Take off your shoes at the front door.

Even without the ant powder, you shouldn't be walking outdoor shoes through your home - dogs' droppings, remnants from discarded takeaways, spit, vomit...

Take your shoes off at the front door. People do all sorts of inconsiderate things on public streets. Right outside my house, someone let their dog shit and didn’t clean it up so I had to do that Angry.
The toxicity of ant killing stuff is low. I don’t know why people dowse the place in powder. It’s cleaner to use bait stations.
