PCOS - solutions

Hi all,
I was diagnosed with Pcos 2years ago after stopping the pill, not having my periods and having cystic acne. I managed to get my periods back, probably with the help of herbal supplements, less gluten and sugar, more sun. I had a baby. Since birth I have thining hair, no periods and cystic acne again. I'm not sure what to do...gynecologists tell me to get Yasmin. I read that Yasmin can increase insulin resistance. I still have those bloody 5kg to lose from pregnancy.
I feel very impatient to see my acne, my kilos disappear and get periods and hair back. --well can you get hair back or is it thin forever? My hairline takes a male pattern atm...
So I am very close to go to the pharmacy and get the pill...should I? Or is it worth going through the whole work of clean diet, supplements, exercice, etc? Will it help with my hair thining?
Thanks for your tips in advance, Mumsnetters are often better advice than lazy doctors...Flowers
