Does this need to be checked? Maybe a mole on scalp

Just noticed this patch in the cow lick of the crown of my BFs head. I guess that bits most exposed to the sun...

Is it a mole? He says it's not sore or anything, does he need to get it checked by a GP?

Can’t really see it very clearly on picture but it would be sensible to get it checked. It could be a seborreheic keratosis which are quite common on the scalp and are totally harmless. Have a google of pictures.

I have a couple of these that look exactly the same. No idea what they are, though.

I also have a couple of these... had them for 6 years or so. Haven’t caused me any bother. Although I do keep an eye on them but they haven’t changed in this time x
