Overactive Adrenalin waves of Goosebumps

For the past 2-3 weeks I’ve been having waves of goosebumps in my head and mostly down right hand side of body. I can even bring it on myself when thinking about something exciting, annoying, scary. Also having powerful head rushes just when dropping off to sleep.
I was on amytriptiline 10mg for the past 14 weeks but it was making me too groggy and emotionally numb so decided to taper off And stopped altogether around 14 days ago. Anyone know if this is just due to the withdrawal or had something similar?? I did have a pretty bad virus start of the year, which went on for a number of months...

Could be withdrawal. Had “brain zaps”/electric shock-type feelings when coming off a similar drug for my anxiety. I know that didn’t feel great. Hope you’re okay. It’ll pass if it is withdrawal.

Thanks @immortality I’m really hoping it’s just taking its time to get out my system. Underestimated the power of the tablets. I’m 42, having night sweats and sore breastage to boot so it could well be hormonal.
