So I started my last period on the 6th July, i usually bleed for around a week. I stopped completely then started bleeding again on the 15th, not a lot, not as much as a normal period, but not just spotting either. It's still coming through.
I suffer from headaches & I am on medication for them, but the last few weeks have been absolutely hell with them, they have been through the roof, everyday my head had felt like rockets going off inside. I am not on the pill, but I do have to wear an eostrogen patch to even out my hormones in an attempt to settle my headaches. I'm 45. I know it's been hot lately but for the last couple of days I've felt like I'm burning up inside, like I'm on fire, yet I don't feel like I have a temperature.
I'm going to try and get an appt with my gp, but I'm wondering if this sounds like it could be the beginning of the menopause? I did have a blood test done about 6 wks ago for hormone levels but nothing came of them.
