Perhaps mistakenly, I thought it was ok to use canesten 1% cream on a sort of as and when needed basis, as I often get a bit itchy down there but don't have much discharge. But my 6 year old has been complaining of an "itchy woo woo" for a while now and it seems to help but then the itching comes back once stopped. I'm taking her to the doctors next week but it has occurred to me that perhaps I should not be using it as often as I do. I can't find much online about it though. I will ask the Dr next week but wondered if anyone else had experienced anything similar? My mum seems to think it's fine and my dad won't touch any antifungal creams because of side effects but he didn't specify what exactly (he has a fungal nail infection). I'm a bit worried now because I've been using it for slight irritation when I probably shouldn't have been.
