Basal cell carcinoma on eyelid

Anyone had this? I was diagnosed nearly two weeks ago and waiting for operation end of August. I’m worried it keeps getting bigger and they’re going to have to cut out so much of my eyelid Sad
Is there anyone out there who’s had this done and can advise/reassure me?

Hi OP, I’ve had a basal cell removed in 2009, it was just to the left side of my nose. I’d had it about 5 years before I asked the GP about it. I had it cut out by a plastic surgeon. He did a great job and it hasn’t come back. I have a very thin white scar which is practically invisible now.
Please don’t worry, they are very, very slow growing and so end of Aug will be fine. The surgeons will be very careful, especially with one by your eye. You’ll be fine Smile

Same here - had one removed last August from my cheekbone. The scar is practically invisible.

Thanks both!
