So, I’ll start off by saying I have a bunch of medical problems, EDS, Gastroparesis, major prolapse issues etc.
I see my GP usually twice a month and a few weeks ago he took some general blood tests to check on things, I’m always low on folate but high b12. This time he said a few things were a bit “off” but nothing to really worry about too much.
I asked what was and he mentioned me TSH was 0.3 and I asked if this was a problem/what’s going on and he told me not to worry about it as I definitely don’t have hypothyroidism. I asked him to repeat the test and he told me it could only be done once a month.
So of course I googled and it and 0.3 seems pretty low? Pointing to hyperthyroid?
I should add that I am continually losing weight but this could be blamed on the gastroparesis but my periods also vanished mostly completely quite a while ago, despite having a copper coil and normal hormone tests.
I must admit I’m a bit worried, has anyone been through similar?
