Anyone know if Tixylix is safe to take when breastfeeding?

Arrrrg I have the most annoying tickly cough, can't get to the pharmacy and the only cough syrup we have in the house is Tixylix! Do you think it's safe to take when breastfeeding? The leaflet doesn't say either way (not surprisingly really, given that's aimed at under 5s!)

My theory is since it's safe for DS to take it can't be a problem - what do you reckon? Or do you think it will just do sod all, given I am 29 not 5?

It'll be fine, I never think cough syrups work that well but give it a go, have you got honey in the cupboard? That's nice and soothing

or suck on a hard candy? I don't think cough syrups do much good anyways

I don't have any sweets - not really into them. But honey is a good idea, I think I've got some at the back of the cupboard.

I am so fed up with this tickle - I've coughed so much that my head throbs agonisingly every time I cough.
