Blood test results???

So my family member had blood test at doctor on saturday and had a hospital appointment today. Had more blood taken this morning..guess they test for everything they can to be sure? He said if we dont hear by 6pm then assume nothing serious is wrong! Please how do i get through 4 hours of this?!?!? Surely the doctors test on sat would of shown if anybad was there????

Was the hospital appointment today a result of the blood test on Sat? I am guessing the tests today are more specific, bloods are only tested for what the clinician who orders the tests requests so not everything is covered, some things can only be tested for at the hospital because of the way the blood needs to be transported to the lab.

There was a lump found on his arm and doc ar doctors thought it was a lymph node so wanted it checked at the hospital but hes pretty sure its not and hes not sure what it is but he said he doesnt seem concerned so i guess thats good? My family member doesnt feel ill in anyway just thought they should get it checked x

And he had blood tests on sat and said we would get results today but we didnt just got sent for my blood tests

Were the blood tests on Sat taken by a GP? If they were the hospital might not be able to access them.
