Skin tags..a little bit eww

My 2 1/2 year old DS is still not toilet trained and is usually in a nappy.

Over the past couple of weeks I have notice dthat he has something like 'skin tags' in his groin, in the crease between the top of legs where they meet his groin.

They don't seem to bother him at all but I was cleaning him up today for bedtime and asked him if they were sore. He said 'yes little bit mummy'.

Has anyone else come across this, if so did they go away on their own? Did you go to the docs? Thanks.

I used to have a skin tag ther - it eventually fell off (sorry of tmi!) at the age of 27! If it's causing him pain why not take him to the GP - I think that they're easily removed under local anaesthetic.

My mum used to twist my skin tags off my neck when I was little.

Think I will take him to the docs then. He really seems pretty unbothered by them TBH but better safe than sorry.

I think the doc can remove them with a bit of string to cut of the circulation.

I had one frozen off my neck by the doctor. It just took a second and didnt hurt. No local anaesthetic required.

Best get doc to look at them. There is something else it could be called Molloscum Contagiousum. They can look a bit like skin tags.
