this is so strange. i woke this morning and wrist (where the veins are) is v swollen & bruised

Perhaps youve just banged it lightly, and not noticed, but because its a veiny area its took it badly and bruised alot?

yes possibly. its scary how big it is. i can hardly move my hand.

NP, years ago I woke up with a big burn on my hand.
I had gone to bed with a hot water bottle but it wasn't hot enough to burn me even when I'd first filled it up.

I never did work out how I did it....weird really.

I woke up one morning with a swollen eye, couldn't open it at all- I decided in the end it must have been a centipede bite (was in Japan).

Could something have bitten you during the night?

i dont see a bite mark
