Hi ladies, haven't been on here for ages! Big hugs to all!

Not sure if I should be worried about my 3rd ds. His nursery teacher commetned on how often he needed to wee and I laughed it off saying he rushed it because he was full of energy and so had to go again straight after. Since then though I've noticed that he really does ask to go regulary, sometimes 2 or 3 times in an hour.

Not sure whether to take him the GP as he's perfectly healthy otherwise.

Has anyone else had experience of this??

thanks for your help xx

Will watch with interest as my dd [6] is going through a similar thing at the moment.

my ds (3.5) does this, is so annoying when on a long car journey! friends say it's cos he's rushing it but i don't think he is, i've just put it down to drinking lots

My ds1 (also 3) wees lots to. On Friday he peed 5 times between 4.30pm and 6pm. We were a bit worried but it looked clear enough. I too have but it down to drinking lots.

It wouldn't do any harm to get him checked out ... best to rule out things like UTI or diabetes. Even a visit to the practice nurse would probably be enough if it's hard to get a doctor's apt. Best to be on the safe side. Hope he's ok

Dd does this as well - it seems to get more frequent as the day goes on.

Ds1 does this if he is bored.

Take him to the park and see if he wants to wee every ten minutes there!

Ds1 also has a fascination with toilets - how they flush, soap dispensers, toilet roll holders, bath toys at friends' houses etc. all this can lead to frequent toilet visiting in his case.

on one memorable occasion, he took such delight in a friends toilet (was a modern thing) he was compelled to draw a picture of it for her.
