Co codamol

Hello, i take co codamol 30/500mg for joint pain, i take average 4 a day sometimes more if necessary, i would like to come off them as i think they make me sleepy but apart from NSAID's i don't know what to try, anyone else had this issue please?

Are you taking any prescribed medication for the joint pain?

You should really go via your GP. I'm assuming that dosage is on prescription? I stepped down to a lower, over the counter dosage as a way of weaning off - if you get the strongest solpadeine to start with, then later the one down from that.

I did think it could cut downtown to one co codamol & a paracetamol instead of full dose of codamol, at least I'd be cutting back.😏
