Hi, I just posted on another thread about this, I wonder if you could have low bile production?? Bile is produced by the liver & is really important in bowel movements & preventing gall stones.
Apparently in pregnancy when you have more Estrogen in your body, the Estrogen can reduce bile production.
You can encourage more bile production by eating lots raw salad greens and eating saturated fat. Saturated fat (not vegetable fats, apart from coconut oil, which is saturated) is what triggers bile production & salad greens help the liver work better to produce the bile.
I've had this problem myself & a combination of these foods plus adding one 'Ox Bile' (yes sounds gross! You can buy them on Amazon) capsule a day with my breakfast has resolved the problem 99%.
There is also a herbal treatment called 'Liver Rejuv' which I've just bought on Amazon, because of rave reviews, as I'd like to produce more of my own bile & not take extra bile in a capsule if I can.
Might be worth a try?? Be careful taking more than one bile tablet...can be powerful! 💩💩😄

You’ll prob need a suppository but they work fast so make sure you’re near a loo.

Two sachets is quite a small dose, so I’d take another two before bed if I were you. And if you haven’t had any movement by lunchtime tomorrow, take another two. That’s assuming you’ll be at home and near the bathroom? Smile

A kiwi fruit helps every time, in me and my DC. Good luck, that’s a long time to be in so much discomfort

You can take up to 10 sachets in a day for a blockage (I've had to take another 10 the next day to get rid of it). Someone else said - keep the suppository in for longer otherwise you just poop that out.

Finally!! After one GP trip and two out of hours doctor's the problem is on its way to being resolved. It was a mixture of stomach ulcer pain/bloating and constipation. I finished stomach ulcer treatment a month before getting pregnant, but I'm now back on omeprazole but only one a day as I'm 8 week pregnant tomorrow and still in the first trimester. And movicol daily with a hell of a lot of water throughout the day and I feel like I can breathe and function again!

Definitely keeping some of these suggestions in my diet anyway! Not returning to that point again hopefully! Good luck to everyone out there!!
