A couple of months ago, I woke up in the night with with cramps, got up to go to the bathroom to get a glass of water and then my face felt like the blood was draining from it, arms and legs went, vision blurred and I felt completely out of it, I thought it must be dying! I managed to call DS who called an ambulance.
I was being sick when the paramedics arrived, then laid down and gradually started to feel better. They said my blood pressure was unusually low and insisted I had to go to hospital (I really didn't want to go due to lack of childcare). Once there, I was put on a drip, urine taken and then discharged in time for the school run.
Earlier in the day, I'd been prescribed serteraline and propranolol as I get severe migraines and GP wanted to see if they were stress related.
Does anyone know if it's normal to pass out with low blood pressure every now and again or if it's related to the meds? Even though I only took 1 of each. My migraines are back with a vengeance but I daren't touch the tablets again in case it wasn't a coincidence with what happened.
