Prickly heat rash, can't shift it, help please

I've got prickly heat rash down both arms. It's unsightly and uncomfortable and still here after five or so days.
I've tried antihistamine tablets, cold spray and calamine lotion. Can anyone suggest anything else please?
I know it's minor but it's itchy and I just want to shift it. Thanks

Apple cider vinegar. A dilute solution. Mix about an eggcup full in a big glass of water (cold) and then dab it on your arms.

Let it sit for 15 mins and wash off with plain water.

hot bath

Greycat11 · 07/07/2018 10:53

Not too sure I can face a hot bath in this weather but will bear it mind.
I'll definitely try that vinegar though. Thanks both.

The GP might prescribe a mild steroid ointment like betnovate or some such.

Thanks if the home remedies don't work I'll give them a ring.

Peppermint tea in aloe vera gel has worked for me.

FreeofPills · 08/07/2018 03:12

You can get hydrocortisone 1% over the counter so you could pop to shops tomorrow and try that

Also a good aloe Vera gel might help

I use a calamine cream with zinc, not sure of the lotion is as good?

Hope you get it sorted soon.

I had this really badly when I was pregnant and the only thing that worked was Snake Brand Prickly Heat Powder
