Vaginal spot/cyst? (tmi sorry)

had sex this morning, bit uncomfortable/sore. sometimes it is as i don't think i am lubricated enough and or/'a fold of skin' is in the wrong position (if that makes sense). didn't say anything to dh as it kills the moment even though it was uncomfortable (the soreness was in one particular area). after when i wiped there was a tiny bit of (fresh) blood in one small area of the tissue (meaning it had come for one small specific area). when i went to do a wee shortly after there was a bit of yellow when i wiped which i took to possibly being puss? never had this before, still sore although only mildly and no blood, was a small bit of puss (?) earlier. could it have been a burst cyst/spot? my yearly smear is due so will obviously mention it then but wanted to ask the MN jury. thanks a lot

Have you had a look?

bicback · 03/07/2018 19:44

i have & a feel. couldn't see or feel anything odd (ie no lump inside etc). i've had painful sex many times (im in my 50's so one tends to often get drier) so the soreness resembles that) but something obviously happened due to the tiny bit of blood. felt immediately after as if there was a cut/wound (all be it tiny). been on the net as you do and vaginal cysts get mentioned a lot. haven't had any issues that i am aware of downstairs for as long as i can remember (fortunately)

Could it have been a tiny tear in the skin if you were dry. Usually cysts are a bit painful all the time if they are ready to burst.

Get the mirror and have a look! You arent going to be able to tell what it is just from feeling Confused

i did (look with a mirror), looked normal to me...although the soreness is inside which i can't see. could have been a tear but would that create a bit of puss? weird as def no issues before hand

Could the yellow not have been from urine?

bicback · 03/07/2018 20:21

no, it was more prominent, like a pen drawn line on the loo paper plus when i looked with the mirror there were a few (small) white/yellow 'blobs' (gross although it's not as bad as my typing is making it sound). if the soreness gets worse over the next couple of days i will have to go to gp i guess although i hate going there)

It will probably heal on its own without needing the GP. I would give it a few days.

Could it be thrush?

bicback · 03/07/2018 22:20

thanks for responses all. hopefully it'll clear up in the next few days. it could be thrush (i'd thought about it) although i hadn't had any symptoms of anything unusual prior to the morning encounter. never quite understood the workings down below..
